H-E-B Eyes New Store Near Chisholm Trail Parkway.

Another H-E-B could be coming closer to Benbrook, this time near Chisholm Trail Parkway and Oakmont Boulevard.

According to a recent announcement from Coming Soon Texas, H-E-B has purchased more than 20 acres at the northeast corner of the intersection for a future store in southwest Fort Worth.

The property is part of Overland, a planned 250-acre development by Cassco on land historically owned by the Edwards family.

The announcement says site work and construction are expected to begin in early 2027, with the new H-E-B targeting a late 2028 opening.

Store designs and other details are still being finalized, so shoppers will have to wait a little longer to see exactly what H-E-B has planned for the site.

For Benbrook residents, the location would put another H-E-B option just a short drive away along the Chisholm Trail corridor.
