A little cowboy cooking is returning to Dutch Branch Park as Benbrook gets ready for its 18th Annual Heritage Fest.
The festival’s Chuckwagon Dinner will be served Saturday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m., bringing a family-style meal inspired by the kind of hearty food once served around the chuckwagon.
Dinner includes chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, biscuits, a drink, and all the fixings. Homemade cobbler finishes the meal.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children 12 and younger. Seating is limited, so residents interested in joining the dinner are encouraged to reserve tickets early.
