Cougar Corner Volunteers Keep Cougars Fed and Supported.

Saturday morning at Cougar Corner meant another round of neighbors showing up for Western Hills students.

Cougar Pride Alliance volunteers made 225 sandwiches for the week ahead, while volunteers from The Light Church fired up the grill to serve barbecue and hamburgers to football players, coaches and their families following the team’s final practice before school begins.

It’s a simple picture of what community support can look like: give a few hours, make a few sandwiches, cook a meal and help take care of the students who call Western Hills home.

Cougar Pride Alliance welcomes others who want to lend a hand as the Cougars begin a new school year.
