Benbrook residents got a chilly surprise Friday as light snow flurries made a rare appearance in North Texas. If you thought your eyes were playing tricks on you, rest assured—they weren’t!
The unexpected snowfall, though fleeting, was spotted near Benbrook Middle-High School at the intersection of 2871 and 377. While it didn’t stick, the sight of snowflakes drifting through the air was a welcome change from the usual winter rain.
With temperatures set to rise in the coming days, the flurries won’t be around for long. But for now, it’s a small winter wonderland moment to enjoy. Stay warm, Benbrook!
