New Family Garden Taking Root at Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

For many Benbrook families, a trip to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is a favorite way to spend an afternoon. Soon, there will be even more for children to discover.

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is preparing to open the Baker Martin Family Garden, a new two-acre space designed to bring kids and nature together through hands-on exploration and play.

The garden will feature a winding creek for splashing, a Texas pond filled with native wildlife, and interactive themed areas where children are encouraged to touch, learn, and explore the natural world around them.

Members of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden will get a first look at the new attraction this November, with a public opening planned for next spring.

As the project continues to take shape, it promises to become a destination where families can slow down, spend time together, and experience the outdoors in a whole new way.
