Looking for a relaxing way to get creative this summer? The Benbrook Public Library invites adults to try their hand at paper quilling as they create a colorful turtle design.
During the hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to use a quilling tool and thin strips of paper to transform simple materials into detailed artwork. Multiple paper colors will be available, and all supplies are included.
The class is scheduled for Friday, June 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Benbrook Public Library, 1065 Mercedes St. The event is open to adults ages 18 and older, and registration is required.
Whether you’re new to paper quilling or looking to sharpen your crafting skills, this class offers a fun opportunity to slow down, learn something new, and leave with a handmade creation of your own.
