Anime fans in Benbrook have something fun to look forward to this week.
The Benbrook Public Library is hosting a Demon Slayer watch party on Tuesday, March 17, from 6 to 7 p.m. for ages 13 and up. The event offers a relaxed evening where teens can gather, enjoy snacks provided by the library, and spend time with others who share an interest in anime.
The popular series follows Tanjiro Kamado, a determined teenager traveling across Japan after his family is killed by a demon. His journey centers on protecting others while he searches for a cure for his sister, who was turned into a demon but retained her humanity. Along the way, he trains and battles to defend people from the same fate.
The evening includes more than just watching the show. Attendees will also have the chance to paint their own warding masks and connect with other fans in the community.
