Benbrook City Council Sets February 5 Agenda With Planning, Finance, and Public Input.

The Benbrook City Council will meet on Thursday, February 5, at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 911 Winscott Road.

The regular meeting includes time for citizen comments, approval of minutes from the January 15 meeting, and a series of reports and action items from the City Manager.

Key items on the agenda include consideration of a resolution adopting the 2025 Tarrant County Hazard Mitigation Plan with the Benbrook annex, a proposal to align board and commission terms with the city’s fiscal year, and presentation of the December 31, 2025, finance and quarterly investment reports. Council will also consider an appointment to Place 3 on the Civil Service Commission.

Residents will have opportunities to speak during both the formal and informal citizen comment periods, with each speaker limited to three minutes, in accordance with state open meetings law.

Following the regular meeting, City Council will hold a work session to discuss the robot playground structure, the Vernon Castle monument, and the Benbrook Marina. No formal action is scheduled during the work session.
