Benbrook Economic Development Board to Discuss Growth Projects and Property Deals.

The Benbrook Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) meets Monday, September 15, at 7 pm in the City Council Chambers at 911 Winscott Road. A work session begins earlier at 6:30 pm in the Central Conference Room.

The meeting will open with a public forum, giving residents the chance to share comments or concerns about economic development in the city. On the agenda is approval of the August board minutes, followed by a financial report for the period ending August 30.

Behind closed doors, the board will move into executive session to discuss two key items: potential real estate negotiations involving property at 610 Winscott Road, and incentive talks tied to a business prospect referred to as “Project Sandberg.”

Work session discussions will also cover approved projects such as Russell Feed & Supply locations, along with updates on overall development activity, City Council actions, and upcoming marketing initiatives.

Meeting agendas and minutes are available at benbrook-tx.gov. Residents with questions may call 817-249-6990 or request meeting recordings in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
