246 Unit Apartment Project Proposed Near Z Boaz Park.

A $34 million apartment development is being planned next to Z Boaz Park in West Fort Worth.

Dallas-based WillMax Capital is proposing 246 units across four buildings at 5401 Benbrook Boulevard, where the old Benbrook Stables once were. The project would include a clubhouse, fitness center, pool, and private garage parking on a 13.9-acre site bordering the 134-acre park.

Grading permits were submitted in early September 2025 and are under review. If approved, construction could begin in January 2026 with completion expected in Summer 2027.

For residents keeping an eye on growth along the Benbrook corridor, this is one to watch.
