BENBROOK, TX — Police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins at an apartment complex in Benbrook after dozens of cars were targeted over two consecutive nights. The break-ins occurred near I-20 and Highway 377, with some victims reporting broken windows, while others had firearms and electronics stolen.
In total, nearly two dozen vehicles were broken into over the two nights. Apartment management is now reviewing surveillance footage to help identify the suspects. In response, the apartment complex, Aura Benbrook, has promised increased patrols and is considering hiring private security.
