Western Hills Hosts March Madness Mentorship Night.

Western Hills High School recently turned a typical school evening into a night focused on mentorship, attendance, and community connection.

As part of a March Madness-themed event, fathers and male role models joined students on campus to discuss the importance of showing up for school and the role of consistent attendance in long-term success. The gathering created space for meaningful conversations between students and the men supporting them.

After the discussion, the evening shifted from conversation to action as students headed to the open gym for time on the basketball court. The event ended on a high note with each student receiving a basketball to take home.

School leaders say the goal was simple. Bring families and mentors together, reinforce the value of education, and create a positive experience that students will remember.
