Vehicle Fire Scare Briefly Slows Traffic Near Aledo Exit.

If you are on I-20 westbound near the Aledo exit today around 4:00 p.m., you may notice some flashing lights and a slight slowdown.

Crews from Engine 34 and Tanker 34 responded to a reported vehicle fire around the 420-mile marker. Fortunately, there was no active fire when they arrived, but EMS was called in as a precaution.

The incident caused a brief lane blockage at the exit, which temporarily slowed traffic.

The good news? Everything was cleared just after 5 pm, and traffic is now moving as usual.
