TCU Men’s Basketball Gives Fans an Early Look at Team 116.

Basketball season may still be months away, but the next chapter of TCU Men’s Basketball is already taking shape.

The 116th team in program history reported to campus on June 1 and has begun summer workouts and practices.

Fans can follow the team’s journey through “Forged in the Fort,” an all-access video series featuring behind-the-scenes footage, summer conditioning, and player interviews. Episode 2, which includes Xavier Edmonds, Luke Bamgboye, and Garry Christopher, is available on YouTube.

The Horned Frogs also made a pair of key additions to the program. Head coach Jamie Dixon recently hired Jerry Hobbie as an assistant coach, bringing 29 years of coaching experience to Fort Worth.

TCU has also named Allen Huddleston as general manager for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs.

Fans wanting even more offseason coverage can watch Coach Dixon’s recent conversation with Frogs Today, where he reflects on last season, discusses the 2026-27 roster, and joins Micah Robinson to talk about the upcoming youth summer camp.

Want to get to know one of the new Horned Frogs? The Fort Worth Star-Telegram recently profiled junior guard Trent Lincoln, who shares why he believes TCU is an ideal place for player development.
