The countdown to a new school year is underway, and Rolling Hills Elementary has a full lineup of events to help families ease into the fall routine.
It all kicks off Saturday, August 9, with Popsicles in the Park at Ventana Community Park. Pre-K students meet at 9 a.m., followed by kindergarteners at 9:30 a.m. Itโs a relaxed chance for kids and parents to mingle before the big first day, with icy treats courtesy of the RHE PTA and Ventana.
Then on Monday, August 11, itโs time to Meet the Teacher. Families with students in Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to stop by between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Pre-K parents have a special meeting at 5:00 p.m. in the Bobcat Den, followed by kindergarten families at 5:30 p.m. in the same location.
Finally, the big moment arrives Tuesday, August 12: the first day of school. As students settle into their new routines, the RHE PTA is hosting a Tears and Cheers Breakfast for parents at 8:30 a.m. at Rolling Hills Park. Whether youโre wiping away tears or raising a quiet cheer, itโs a chance to connect and mark the start of something new.
Benbrook, the backpacks are packed. Letโs do this.
