Looking to do a little treasure hunting this morning? One Benbrook family is taking a different approach to a traditional garage sale.
A pay-what-you-want garage sale is underway at 1202 Park Center Street as the homeowners work to downsize and clear out household items. Rather than setting fixed prices, shoppers are invited to pay what they believe is fair.
The family says their goal is simple: reduce clutter and find new homes for as many items as possible.
The sale is expected to begin around 7:30 to 8 a.m. and offers a chance for neighbors to browse, find a bargain, and help a local family lighten the load at the same time.
If you’re out and about this morning, it may be worth a stop. You never know what treasures you might find.
