Overnight Closures Ahead for Westbound I-30 in Tarrant County.

Benbrook drivers may need extra patience this week as overnight closures are planned on westbound Interstate 30 for bridge construction.

The Texas Department of Transportation announced that traffic will be detoured at Spur 580 and Camp Bowie Boulevard, with signed routes in place to guide motorists back onto I-30 after Linkcrest Drive.

Closure Schedule

• Monday, September 29, 9 p.m. to Tuesday, September 30, 6 a.m.
• Wednesday, October 1, 9 p.m. to Thursday, October 2, 6 a.m.
• Friday, October 3, 9 p.m. to Saturday, October 4, 6 a.m.

In addition to the main closure, the crossover under I-30 at Mary’s Creek between the eastbound and westbound frontage roads will also be shut down during these hours as crews install new bridge beams.

Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. While the work may be an inconvenience in the short term, the project is part of ongoing improvements aimed at strengthening infrastructure and supporting the growing needs of Tarrant County commuters.
