Joan T. Trew, a revered Fort Worth resident and trailblazer in the real estate and nonprofit communities, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, at the age of 92.
A Celebration of Life will occur on January 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. at University Baptist Church, 2720 Wabash Ave., Fort Worth, with a reception immediately following at the church.
Known for her unwavering compassion and dedication, Joan’s life was centered on uplifting others, especially those in need. Her legacy leaves an indelible mark on Fort Worth, as friends, colleagues, caregivers, and her family remember her with deep affection and gratitude.
In place of flowers, the family requests donations to Dallas Baptist University, Truett Theological Seminary, or Shriners Hospital for Children.
