Gary Michael Albin, a longtime Benbrook resident, passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 75 following a sudden illness.
A skilled electrician, Gary built a career that ranged from installing mobile audio systems in his early years to working with advanced electronics in the oil industry before retiring from AT&T.
Retirement gave him more time to enjoy the things he loved most, including golfing, fishing, woodworking, playing cards with friends, watching football, and traveling throughout Texas with his wife, Susan. He was also known for bringing family together through cookouts, pool parties, and holiday gatherings. An animal lover, Gary rescued numerous dogs and cats over the years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Benbrook Animal Shelter, 4 Paws of Benbrook, or the Humane Society of Fort Worth.
