November Brings Games, Gatherings, and Gratitude to the Benbrook Senior Center.

Benbrook’s Senior Citizens Center has released its November schedule, and it’s filled with activities that keep community members connected, active, and engaged all month long. Located at 911 Winscott Road, the center welcomes residents for a variety of games, wellness programs, and special events.

Weekly favorites include Hand n Foot, Bridge, Canasta, Mexican Train, and Pegs & Jokers, offered throughout the week from 9 a.m. to 2 or 3:30 p.m., depending on the day. Chair Yoga is held every Tuesday for those looking to stay flexible and energized.

Special events this month include:

  • Nov. 5: Bingo & Cake with Maleah Ensey, Senior Healthcare Advisor, at 11:30 a.m. (Medicare changes discussion, sign-up required)
  • Nov. 12: Breakfast with the Kcatchy’s at 8 a.m., followed by Thanksgiving Rock Painting at 11:30 a.m.
  • Nov. 18: Field Trip to Fuzzy’s Taco Shop and Fall Expo at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens starting at 10 a.m. (sign-up required)
  • Nov. 26: Thanksgiving Dinner at National Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (bus departs at 10:30 a.m., sign-up required)

The center will be closed November 27–28 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Regular weekly activities continue through the end of the month, offering plenty of chances for residents to gather, laugh, and share community spirit.
