Football season may still be a few months away, but the next chapter of TCU football is already taking shape.
The latest episode of Acre & Iron: Building the Carter Boys, presented by The Home Zone, offers fans a look at the Horned Frogs’ emerging leaders as a new generation steps forward following one of the most successful eras in program history.
After a senior class helped guide TCU to a College Football Playoff appearance, a national championship game, and an impressive four-year run, the spotlight now shifts to the veterans tasked with carrying the program forward. The episode explores how these players are embracing leadership, developing their own identity, and preparing to leave their mark on Horned Frog football.
For Benbrook residents and TCU fans alike, it’s another sign that football season is drawing closer.
Several key dates are approaching, including single-game ticket sales on June 29, Big 12 Media Days on July 7 and 8, the First Down Frogs Women’s Clinic on August 5, the season opener against North Carolina in Dublin, Ireland on August 29, and the home opener against Grambling State on September 12.
Season tickets for the 2026 campaign are on sale now as TCU continues its “Protect the Carter” campaign.
