Looking to learn mahjong or find a few new friends to play with? The Mahj House in Benbrook is offering weekly Mahjong Mondays for beginners and experienced players alike.
Held every Monday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 5509 Plata Lane, the gatherings offer two ways to join the fun.
Beginners can enjoy guided instruction and hands-on practice for $30 per person, with everything needed to play provided. Experienced players can join open play for $20 per person, with friendly competition and prizes, and no instruction.
We provide drinks, and guests are welcome to bring their own beverages.
Reservations are required, with payment due when booking. To save a seat or learn more, call 817-905-2710.
Whether you’re learning the tiles for the first time or already know your way around a mahjong table, Monday evenings offer another opportunity to connect with fellow players right here in Benbrook.
