Local Farm Supporting Special Needs Community Featured on NBC DFW.

Just south of Benbrook, a small farm with a big mission is gaining attention across North Texas.

Stone’s Throw Farm Co. was recently featured on NBC DFW’s Texas Today yesterday, where co-founder Jack Stone and intern Randall Baker shared how the organization is creating meaningful work opportunities for individuals with special needs. Their message centered on the value each person brings when given the chance to contribute using their unique strengths.

The nonprofit focuses on building confidence, job skills, and community for individuals with special needs while also supporting their families. Through hands-on work and mentorship, participants learn practical skills and discover the satisfaction of meaningful work.

Stone also shared news of a new partnership between Stone’s Throw Farm Co. and Fred’s Cafe, another step in expanding opportunities and visibility for the program.
