The Benbrook Lady Bobcats soccer team continues to roll through district play.
Entering Tuesday night’s matchup against Eastern Hills, the Lady Bobcats were already riding a ten-game winning streak. By the end of the evening, that number had grown to eleven.
On a warm night with a bright full moon rising in the background, Benbrook quickly took control. The Lady Bobcats jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first half while their defense kept Eastern Hills largely on its own side of the field. The pressure rarely eased as Benbrook controlled possession and tempo throughout the night.

The second half followed a similar pattern. The Lady Highlanders managed one goal, but Benbrook added four more to close out a 9-1 victory with 13:11 still remaining in the match.
Lily Chavez led the scoring with three goals. Sydney Chavez, Grace Klaerner, and Randee Slater each added two goals. Sydney Chavez and Klaerner also recorded two assists each. Lily Chavez, Slater, Jessica Anzaldua, and Victoria Arriaga each contributed an assist. Anzaldua was named Benbrook Player of the Match.
With the win, the Lady Bobcats improve to 16-3-1 overall and remain undefeated in district play at 11-0. Benbrook currently sits in first place with three regular-season games left.
Next up is another home match on Friday as the Lady Bobcats host the Young Women’s Leadership Academy.
