I-20 and I-30 Ramp Changes Shift Traffic Near Walsh Ranch.

For drivers moving between Benbrook and Aledo, recent ramp changes along I-20 and I-30 are starting to reshape the daily commute.

As of March 18, the westbound I-20 exit to FM 1187 and FM 3325 has been permanently closed. In the meantime, drivers are being routed to the Walsh Ranch Parkway exit while crews build a new permanent ramp just west of that area.

A day later, another change followed. The eastbound entrance to I-30 from FM 1187 and FM 3325 was removed to make room for a new exit ramp. For now, drivers are being directed along the frontage road to enter I-30 at Walsh Ranch Parkway, where a new permanent entrance is also under construction nearby.

For those who travel this stretch often, the adjustments may take some getting used to, especially during busier times of day. The changes are part of a larger effort to improve traffic flow as the corridor continues to grow.
