High school seniors across Benbrook who compete in academics, athletics, or music through the University Interscholastic League still have time to apply for the H-E-B Community Leader Scholarship, but the window is closing fast.
Now in its eighth year, the program is a partnership between H-E-B and UIL schools statewide that recognizes students who excel on the field, in the classroom, or in performance while also giving back to their communities.
The scholarship selects 15 students from across Texas, with each recipient earning $2,000 toward college tuition. The deadline to apply is January 30.
Eligible seniors are encouraged to act soon and submit their application at https://bit.ly/HEBScholarship.
