Fort Worth’s MLK Parade Rescheduled for February 17.

Fort Worth’s 40th Annual Greater Fort Worth Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Parade and Rally is back after a winter weather delay.

The event, originally planned for January 20, was postponed due to the extreme cold. Still, now the city is ready to honor Dr. King’s legacy with renewed energy and unity on Monday, February 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The celebration begins at the Fort Worth Convention Center Parking Garage (1301 Commerce Street), with check-in from 8:30 a.m. and on-site registration open from 8:00-10:00 a.m. The parade lineup starts at 10:00 a.m., featuring an exciting mix of floats, classic cars, and walking groups, leading up to the 11:00 a.m. parade kickoff.

Registration Details:

  • Individual Participants: $40 online, $45 onsite
  • Vehicles, Floats, and Groups: $100 online and onsite

The parade route winds through downtown Fort Worth, concluding at Sundance Square Plaza, where a post-parade celebration will take place. Organizers emphasize that this event is about unity, so political signage and divisive messaging will not be permitted.

Whether you’re marching, cheering from the sidelines, or celebrating at Sundance Square, this is a powerful opportunity not just to remember Dr. King’s Dream, but to live it—together. Register now and be part of this historic tribute!
