Fort Worth ISD Launches 2025 New Year’s Resolution Challenge.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — In a heartfelt appeal during last night’s school board meeting, Interim Superintendent Dr. Karen Molinar issued a rallying cry to local businesses, community organizations, faith-based groups, and neighborhood associations: step up and “Adopt a School Staff” as part of the 2025 New Year’s Resolution Challenge.

Dr. Molinar emphasized the invaluable contributions of school staff, who dedicate their time, energy, and personal resources to shaping the leaders of tomorrow. The initiative aims to unite the community in supporting school staff over the next five months with simple but meaningful gestures.

Dr. Molinar shared several ways individuals and organizations can get involved:

  • Nourish and Encourage: Provide snacks, fruit trays, or essential supplies to brighten their days.
  • Recognize Excellence: Sponsor staff appreciation events to show gratitude for their hard work.
  • Celebrate Achievements: Donate recognition awards for restaurant gift cards or new teacher lounge materials.
  • Offer Expertise: Provide pro-bono professional services to help staff thrive.

The challenge is simple for those already supporting schools: keep up the great work and inspire others to join in! Fort Worth ISD offers a list of schools needing supporters for new participants.
