Summer camps are not just about sports and screens anymore. One local program is helping children build something that can last far beyond summer break: confidence, kindness, and social skills.
NLJC-Greater Fort Worth/Aledo is inviting families to register for its 2026 Pre-Cotillion Program, a three-day etiquette experience designed for rising first through fourth-grade students. The classes will be held June 2 through June 4 at the historic Woman’s Club of Fort Worth.
Through role-playing, storytelling, hands-on activities, and interactive lessons, children will learn age-appropriate manners and social etiquette while making new friends in a fun, encouraging environment.
Program organizers say the goal is simple: help young ladies and gentlemen feel more comfortable and confident in everyday social settings while still letting kids be kids.
Pre-Cotillion I for rising first and second graders will meet from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., while Pre-Cotillion II for rising third and fourth graders runs from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Registration is $200 per student, and spots are limited ahead of the May 30 deadline.
For families looking to help their children grow in confidence, conversation skills, and kindness this summer, this may be one of the more unique opportunities around town.
