Fort Worth Advances EMS Transition to Fire Department.

Fort Worth City Council reviewed a proposed MOU to integrate MedStar EMTs, paramedics, and telecommunicators into the Fire Department starting July 1, 2025.

The agreement outlines competitive pay, benefits, and seamless transitions for MedStar employees while improving EMS response times and patient care. Council will vote on the proposal on January 28, 2025.
