Childers Avenue to Close March 4 for Siren Replacement.

Residents in Benbrook will want to plan ahead on Wednesday morning.

Per the City of Benbrook’s latest email notification, Childers Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Bryant Street and Usher Street on March 4 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The temporary closure will allow the Benbrook Fire Department to replace an outdoor weather siren in the area.

The work is expected to wrap up before midday, but residents who typically use Childers during the morning hours should allow extra time and consider alternate routes.
