A packed room at Mira Vista Country Club recently brought together local business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community partners for another Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon.
The event featured guest speaker Rodney J. Morris, whose presentation, Hire Slow, Lose Fast, focused on one of the biggest challenges facing organizations today: finding and keeping the right people. Morris shared practical insights on improving the hiring process, asking better interview questions, and building teams positioned for long-term success.
Beyond the presentation, the luncheon served as an opportunity to welcome new Chamber members, celebrate local businesses, share upcoming community events, and strengthen connections among professionals from across the area.
Chamber leaders thanked Morris, event sponsors, door prize donors, and attendees for helping make the gathering a success. They also noted that while networking events are valuable, the relationships and opportunities that grow from those conversations often become the most meaningful benefit of Chamber membership.
Members should note there will be no Membership Luncheon in July. Beginning in August, future Membership Luncheons will be held at Ridglea Country Club.
