The November 7th election for the City of Benbrook City Council seats will no longer be necessary as all 4 open seats will remain with their incumbents, who all ran unopposed.

In an effort to reduce criminal activity and address ongoing complaints surrounding hotels, the Benbrook City Council recently voted to amend the municipal code, now requiring all hotels in the city to apply for and maintain a lodging license.
For years, residents and public officials have discussed the pros and cons of building a new bridge in northeast Benbrook.

The City Council of the City of Benbrook will hold an open meeting on Thursday, August 3, at 7:30 p.m. to hear and consider possible amendments to the municipal code.
