The Benbrook Bobcats made a statement Friday night, crushing the Carter-Riverside Eagles 63-28 to close out January with a dominant district win.
Bouncing back from a tough loss to Eastern Hills earlier in the week, the Bobcats came out firing on all cylinders, locking in their third home victory while averaging 63.7 points per game this season. With the win, Benbrook improves to 16-13 overall and 6-3 in district play, holding strong at third place in the district standings.
With just three district games left, the Bobcats are gearing up for a rematch against the Dunbar Wildcats on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. as they look to sweep the season series.
