Benbrook Middle High School’s varsity boys golf team brought home a first-place finish last week after a strong showing at the Weatherford Tournament held at Canyon West Golf Club.
The Bobcats turned in a solid team performance, led by sophomore Seth James, who finished second overall. Senior Brady Peloquin followed close behind with a tie for third place, helping secure the tournament win for Benbrook.
The momentum continues this week as several Bobcat golf teams return to the course across North Texas. The Girls varsity team travels to Granbury on Friday for tournament play. The Boys Green squad opened the week at Holiday Hills Golf Course in Mineral Wells. The Boys Gold team heads to Sugar Tree Golf Course in Lipan midweek, while the junior varsity team competes locally at Benbrook Par 3.
With strong finishes and a full week of competition ahead, Benbrook golf continues to make its mark on the area tournament circuit.
