The Benbrook Bobcats made a splash this past weekend at the FWISD Halloween Swim Meet at Wilkerson, with the girls’ team taking first place overall with 91 points.
Leading the charge were Grace Le, Alicia Klas, Skylar Sosropartono, and Grier Thompson, who teamed up to win both the 200-yard medley and freestyle relays.
Individual performances were just as impressive. Klas placed first in the 50-yard breaststroke and second in the 200-yard freestyle, while Sosropartono earned two first-place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle. Lillian Riley also claimed first in the 25-yard freestyle, with Le and Thompson adding top-four finishes in their respective events.
Other Bobcats contributing to the meet included Abigail Blair, Wyatt Hayes, Jackson Hunt, Callie Isbell, Mason Lopez, and Izzy Rosas.
With another strong meet behind them, the Bobcats return to the pool November 14 in Mansfield.
