As the cold settles in, the Benbrook Senior Citizen Center is giving residents plenty of ways to stay active, connected, and warm. The center has become a lively indoor gathering spot, filled each week with games, movement, and good company.
Bingo Night kicks things off on the first Friday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Rock Painting brings seniors together on the second Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. Beyond those monthly favorites, the center offers a steady lineup of weekly activities that make winter feel a little brighter.
Seniors can join Bridge on Monday and Thursday at 9 a.m., Pegs and Jokers on Monday and Friday at noon, and Chair Yoga on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Canastaย players meet on Thursday at 9 a.m., whileย Dominoes 42ย runs on Tuesday and Friday at 9 a.m. Daily Hand and Foot games start at 9 a.m., and fans of Mexican Train Dominoes gather on Tuesday and Thursday at noon.
