Looking for something to do with the kids this week? The Benbrook Public Library has another full lineup of Summer Reading Program activities for readers, creators, and lifelong learners of all ages.
The week of June 15-20 includes everything from storytimes and baby programs to crafts, painting, a Dog Man Party, a James Wand performance, and Spanish Conversation. Adults can also join the Fiber Art Social Circle, while older kids and teens can get creative through special workshops and activities.
Families should note that the library will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.
One of the highlights of the week is Saturday’s Cold Case Challenge, offering participants a chance to put their investigative skills to the test.
The Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes Street and remains one of the community’s busiest summer gathering spots, bringing together learning, creativity, and fun under one roof.
