Benbrook Library Hosting DIY Prom Flower Event for Teens.

Prom season can get expensive fast, but the Benbrook Public Library is offering local teens a creative, budget-friendly option just in time for the big night.

On Friday, May 15, from 4 to 6 p.m., teens ages 13 to 19 are invited to stop by the library and create their own prom flowers, including corsages and boutonnieres.

The library will provide flowers, bracelets, pins, and floral tape while supplies last, allowing students to design something personal for prom or other upcoming special events. Donations will be accepted, but registration is not required.

For many students, prom preparations can feel stressful and expensive. Events like this offer a chance to save money, get creative, and spend time with friends before one of the biggest nights of the school year.

More upcoming programs and events can be found at benbrooklibrary.org/events/month.

The library is located at 1065 Mercedes St. in Benbrook.
