Benbrook is bidding farewell to Fire Chief Tommy Davis, who will retire after an incredible 38 years of service. Known for his dedication, steady leadership, and tireless commitment to community safety, Chief Davis leaves behind a legacy that will inspire generations of firefighters.
As the community honors Chief Davis’s remarkable career, the Benbrook Fire Department welcomes Chief Jason Tate as its new leader. A 25-year veteran of the team, Chief Tate brings a wealth of experience and a passion for continuing the department’s mission of excellence in service and safety.
A retirement reception for Chief Davis will be held on January 24th from 2–4 p.m. at the Benbrook Fire Station, located at 528 Mercedes Street in Benbrook, Texas.
