A summer afternoon filled with guitars, drums, games, and hands-on music activities is coming to Benbrook this weekend as Benbrook Music Academy hosts its free “Benbrook Kids Make Music Day.”
The family-friendly event is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Trinity Hills Baptist Church, located at 6970 Ranch to Market Road 2871.
Organizers say children will have the chance to try demo music lessons, visit an instrument “petting zoo,” enjoy snacks, games, prizes, and spend the afternoon discovering different ways to connect with music.
The event is designed to give families a fun and low-pressure way to introduce kids to instruments and creative learning as summer begins.
Attendance is free, but space is limited, and RSVP registration is required by May 28.
