What was billed as a showdown between two top-ranked teams—Benbrook holding the regional #1 spot and Brock right behind at #2—turned into a late-game unraveling for the Bobcats.

After keeping things competitive early, Benbrook’s bullpen collapsed in the later innings, rotating through three pitchers and allowing a tidal wave of runs that ultimately ended their seven-game win streak.
