Benbrook Middle-High School’s Varsity Tennis Team delivered a powerful performance at the District Tournament, sweeping first place across every division and earning a total of 10 spots at the upcoming Regional Tournament in Lubbock.
In Girls Singles, Addison Olford and Savannah Tucker claimed first and second place, respectively. On the Boys Singles side, Asher Ellison and Bryce Lange took the top two spots, locking in a complete Bobcat sweep.
Doubles play was just as strong. Piper Archer and Alexis Siddiq captured first in Girls Doubles, while teammates Morgan Gibbons and Kailyn Altmiller fought hard for fourth. In Boys Doubles, DJ Taiwo and Joshua Ordonez dominated with a first-place finish, and the team of Robert Heick and Sawyer Satterwhite grabbed third.
The Mixed Doubles division was all Bobcats, with Addisyn Little and Hayden Altmiller winning first, followed closely by LillyMay Van Horn and Dylan Long in second.
It was a full-court show of skill, grit, and teamwork. As the Bobcats head to Regionals, all eyes in Benbrook will be watching—and cheering—loudly from home. See you in Lubbock, Bobcat Nation.
