A Benbrook student-athlete is headed overseas this summer to represent Team USA on the basketball court.
Jonathan Robinson, a player from Benbrook Middle-High School, has been selected by USA Student Athlete World to compete in the 2026 Portugal Basketball Festival in Portugal and Spain from June 22 through June 30.
Robinson was chosen from a national pool of student-athletes based on athletics, academics, leadership, and character.
The international trip includes basketball competition, sightseeing, and leadership development opportunities alongside athletes from around the world.
It’s a proud moment to see one of its own stepping onto an international stage.
