A weekend of clean cars turned into meaningful help for local shelter dogs. Benbrook 4 PAWS shared thanks this week after a successful fundraising event held at Benbrook Caliber Car Wash.
Over three days, from Friday through Sunday last weekend, 148 cars rolled through the wash. With half of the proceeds donated back to the cause, Benbrook 4 PAWS expects to receive nearly $1,200.
Those funds go directly toward veterinary care for dogs at the Benbrook Animal Shelter, including exams, vaccinations, and spaying or neutering, as well as helping prepare dogs for adoption.
Organizers say the turnout is another reminder of how much Benbrook residents care about local animals and the role small community events can play in making a real difference for dogs waiting for their forever homes.
