Benbrook 4 PAWS Cancels Saturday Adoptions Due to Weather.

With winter weather expected to move through the area this weekend, Benbrook 4 PAWS has announced it will not hold adoption hours on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Benbrook Animal Shelter.

Organizers say the decision was made out of caution for volunteers, staff, and animals. The group will continue to monitor conditions and share updates if additional schedule changes are needed.

For now, regular adoption hours remain:

• Tuesday through Friday: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, weather permitting

Residents interested in adopting are encouraged to plan visits during weekday hours and keep an eye on local updates as conditions develop.

Sometimes helping animals also means knowing when to pause. Benbrook 4 PAWS plans to resume normal operations as soon as it is safe to do so.
