Last weekend, the Benbrook Fire Department got a surprise that hit all the right notes.
The Heart & Soul Quartet stopped by, filling the station with harmonies, smiles, and sweet treats. It was more than just a visit—it was a heartfelt moment of connection and gratitude.
The musical group spent the weekend making their rounds across the Metroplex, offering a unique thank-you to local heroes. From the Benbrook Police and Fire Departments to first responders in Saginaw, Lake Worth, White Settlement, and more, each stop was part concert, part celebration.
They teamed up with Encounter Church Fort Worth to honor the people who keep our cities safe. And thanks to The Irving Bakery, the treats were just as sweet as the songs.
For the crews on the front lines, these small moments of appreciation go a long way. And for those lucky enough to be there, it was a reminder that sometimes, joy shows up with a song and a smile.
