Benbrook residents have a tasty way to give back this summer. On Friday, August 1, Smash and Dash Fort Worth is teaming up with Sanctified MM for a full day of burgers with a purpose.
Whether you swing by for lunch between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. or stop in for dinner from 5 to 8 p.m., 25 percent of all proceeds that day will go toward a great cause. The fundraiser supports a local youth mental health academy that recently received a generous donation for an above-ground pool at its girls’ campus.
The pool itself is covered, but now the focus is on raising funds for fun extras and ongoing maintenance. Think pool floats, towels, and all the care that keeps a pool summer-ready.
So mark your calendar and come hungry. One burger on August 1 could help bring some much-needed joy to young girls in our community.
