Looking for your next good read without spending a fortune? The Friends of Benbrook Library are bringing back their semi-annual book sale November 6-7, and it works a little differently.
There are no set prices! Shoppers can pick up a single book or an entire stack and donate whatever they feel the books are worth.
The sale takes place at the Benbrook Public Library, located at 1065 Mercedes Street, with the following schedule:
- Thursday, Nov. 5, 4-7 p.m.: Early access exclusively for school employees, military personnel, and first responders with a valid work ID.
- Friday, Nov. 6, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Open to the public.
- Saturday, Nov. 7, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Open to the public.
Whether you’re stocking up on books for the family or searching for something new to read, it’s a chance to browse, save, and support your local library.
