A steady stream of water has been running non-stop from the sprinkler system just inside the new City Hall’s south wall since Friday, and neighbors have noticed.
The runoff has been flowing down into Timber Creek Square, raising concerns about water waste during a hot Texas summer.
Despite a few residents alerting local authorities, including a stop by the police department, the issue has yet to be resolved. Some have suggested calling the Fort Worth Water Department’s after-hours line to shut off the sprinklers, but as of today, they are still running.
Benbrook residents are encouraged to speak up when they see issues like this. A quick call could save a lot of wasted water.
